End of Unit Project:
Students selected a tall tale of their choice. The students are working on these activities for this week.
Vocabulary
Select 10 words of interest from the story.
Select 5 words from the 10 words to create sentences for them.
Comprehension
Write the definition for a tall tale.
Identify 3 exaggerations from the book.
Draw an illustration for one of the exaggerations.
List 4 to 6 traits of the main character and give examples from the book to support them.
Write a paragraph using these traits.
Performance
Do a reader's theater for the book.
